I know that there is a point in the small of your back right above the tail bone that can get rid of hiccups. Does anyone know its actual name or heard of it?

I don't know about that point, but put your thumb where the jaw and skull are connected, with the same hand, put your pinky finger under your tongue on the center line.  Apply light pressure to both points for 30 - 60 seconds.  Repeat if necessary.

The point is on the tip of the tongue try to pinch it or press hard on it.  A needle works best  in a real bad case.

The following points will get rid of those dreaded Hiccups Wink

TH-17 = Hold the point on both sides, and taking slow, deep breaths is one of the fastest ways to relieve hiccups.

LU-1 = Both points, Press firmly, with deep breaths.

Kd-27 = Both points, Press firmly, with deep breaths.

Sure, I will list them --- They also, can just type (yin yang house) in their search engine - there is a whole bunch of great information , and they can find exactly where all the points are Grin

Th-17 =  "Just" below the ear lobe, on the rear jaw-bone.

Lu-1 =  Run your finger "Straight" upward from your nipple, too the clavicle --Just under the clavicle is Lu-2, and 1 cun directly below Lu-2, is Lu-1.

Kd-27 = In the depression at the lower border(just under) the clavicle, 2 cun lateral to Cv-21.
