How many times do you here someone say I got sucker punched. As a martial artist you should be aware of how they are done. I will in some situations do them myself this is part of being a wise street fighter. you should be able to sense danger and sense when you are getting set up for a sucker move. Here is one. Spit salt in ther eyes then grab and elbow strike. there are many more I would love to here other good sucker moves if anyone would like to share them. That is a good way for us as martial artist to be aware of all kinds of sucker moves that may be used on you. Master Moran

Thats a good idea Master Moran Here is another one. Lets say you are confronted. If you stand infront of your opponent with your hands down by your sides. You then say that you dont want any trouble then take a step as if to walk past the opponent and then very quickly swing your are towards your opponent groin and hit with a back fist.
I have never actually used this myself but I have seen it used successfully.

if so one is holding you at gun point the key to getting out of it is to keep him talking. 80% of the populattion can't pull the trigger when there talking! this may increase your chances in a take away technique. I play deaf it works try it in your DoJo. it works!

How about the posture of touching your own chin with one hand and with the other hand touch the elbow of the hand touching your chin.
It kind of looks like a thinking pose.
Very not threatening but both hands are very close to use for just about any strike or block.

When a fight starts with a face to face confrontation, before any punchs are thrown, quickly turn your back on him with a half step and back kick (with your heel) to any target on his lower center line. try that one!

When confronted, if you keep your hands open, and up in a surrender type position, "Look, Dude, I don't wan't any trouble", your hands are already in the fight. But more importantly, any witnesses will see Mr. Bad guy starting the fight and will see you're surrendering. If you strike Mr. Bad guy, keep those hands open, because the witnesses are looking only at fists and arms flying around hitting the guy with his hands up and open. You can literally say, "But officer, his head hit my hand!"

Hi You say you play deaf when you have a gun pulled on you? So you've actually done this on people who have pulled guns on you? How many times have you had a gun pulled on you? I would move if i was you. LOL tc KG

I'm not sure.........he sounds like it, though. He did say doesn't belong to any organization, but I thought he said he has trained under Dillman in the past. All our schools are DKI.
Hey Kyushoguy....ya out there? Have we trained together?
