Foot and calves

Am seeking pressure point karate stances to enhance the growth of my calves' development and strenghten my feet, any suggestions? Or, any good exercises or books i may read from the public library or bookstores or online sources to help me learn about pressure point karate?
I have been using the balls of my feet to press off of and land on when i get up in morning to get the blood flowing to my feet and legs, but i am lacking muscle growth in my calves. I do also stand on the balls of my feet to help me develop balance and coordination to my legs.

Dim the is a stance call the dog stance, used in a white ceane Kata of Shorin Ryu. It is like what you are doing now, but you walk around that way. In china a type of horse stance is held for a time, the record is three hour. if you are interested I can discribe it for you,

with your legs spread about a foot and a half, left your heels off the ground till you are balanced on your toes and the balls of your feet (bend knees) left your arms to be relaxed and straight with the ground. the palms of your hands face down with the finger tips relaxed, back and head held in alinement as if they were being pulled upwards by a magnetic threat. Hold this posture as long as possible. If any part of the body quivers at any time, the body has reached it limit and your are done. but with daily practice, the time will slowly get longer. the is a old school training for balance in Tai chi schools, but all system train all the horse type stances in the same way. This stance is the most difficult of all.
