I don't know how many people saw the original footage of Game of Death (The way it was intended by Bruce Lee), but I managed to track it down on Youtube.
Originally, the Game of Death was suppose to be about a small group of martial artists attacking a pagoda where each of its five floors was guarded by different martial arts master. The whole film was suppose to be about explaining Bruce Lee's beliefs on the principles of martial arts, emphasizing unpredictability, economy of movement, and a variety of techniques. Only the last three floors were filmed. The first floor was suppose to be guarded by Hwang In Shik, a Hapkido master who used a kick-oriented style. The second floor was suppose to be guarded by Taky Kimura, using a praying mantis kung fu style. The footage here picks up with Dan Inosanto using Filipino escrima and Ji Han Jae on the fourth floor also using Hap Ki Do. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was the final opponent who used a style of Jeet Kune Do, which used his size to his advantage. Anyways, here are the clips in order, if you haven't seen them or want to see them again. The dialogue certainly hasn't aged very well. For an example, listen to the dialogue at 3:10 into the first clip. (Seriously, who talks like that anymore?)
