Good news one of my students droped a mugger with a naihanchi shodan move he said it just all happened real fast and the mugger was down.
Proving again kata works if you are taught how to fight with it as a system not a collection of bunkai. This is not the first time one of my students has used kata fighting to defeat an attacker and wont be the last!
