Hello --- I do not believe that there is a BEST KARATE STYLE. When you say the word "Karate" - Usually refers A "Hard Style" - Like Shotokan, or TKD ect,.  It is the Martial Artist that makes the Style.

In the early 1970s There was a meeting of all the heads of the major styles of karate in Japan and the world.  At that meeting they agreed to make karate more like western boxing after that styles no longer mattered a kick was a kick a punch was a punch. It was a major change and is why karate is today look at my bowling ball kick on youtube this was nothing for a karate man pre 1950 how many can do it today. The toe kick was the pressure point kick used in death matches the karate men of the old days had to have kicks that killed. Karate is kata and kata is Karate that's were your system is.  If you want the old way of styles master one kata and your doing a system of real karate.
