Thanks for the warm welcome. Am new member as of today. Have read books about dim mak, shiatsu, and various martial arts pertaining to pressure points. My concern is to learn more about the healing aspects of meridians and nerve points. I get my scholastic studies from books and magazines at public libraries and online resources such as this website. I look forward to meeting fellow members and learning about pressure point karate.

the healing arts, is a very difficult practice to understand, there are many self Shiatsu and do it your self pressure point book out there, which is the lightest study on the subject of healing. These type of books can give you a fundamental understanding on both healing and defense. and then you need to use it first for healing and in doing this, the defense arts will surface on there own. this is the only correct way to learn both arts. You can not do it backwards! A golden gloves boxer can k. o. with one punch and there are many schools out there that are full of students that are being trained to K. O. each other out, outside of a combat situation. this type of study is worth very little to me. Knocking someone out when relaxed is very easy to do and it may inflate my ego but to heal sick people that need your help inflate the spirit. and on the front page of this site, is a list of book you can start with. Now if you are a top rate student there are text type book acupucture and acupressure that are use in schools to teach sudents from scratch. these are the best type of book but they will take time and work. and once again, you will need to start healing simple illnesses right away. read do read do read do. there is no magic button to greatness. I hope you understand that I wish to bless you with a good start not a quick start. If quick is what you want, you need to talk to any Great man you can find, he will tell you, it didn't come quickly. OK.

i got all the time in the world to learn from any online school source that i can gather and be accepted to. Basically, i am doing the best that i can to 'empty my tea cup' thus far with scholastical studies and online studies of pressure point karate.  Cheesy
