Lets try to get a list of various uses for certain types of weapons.

How have you used a upper cut?

It does not necessarily need to be to a pressure point but please include that info if you like.

Again rather than stating the obvious how about using an upper cut to strike the wrist area of a strike that is coming straight in.

You could trap the strike with one hand and uppercut with the other.
Timing is key for this one
