Lets try to get a list of various uses for certain types of weapons.

How have you used an open palm strike?

It does not necessarily need to be to a pressure point but please include that info if you like.

How about steping 45 degree from an attacker and using this strike to hit the point on the jaw line potentially causing a KO.

The very first K.O. I ever did was a left hand palm strike to the forehead. the strike was directed over head draged downwards, in a sparring match. It work the very first time.
