Uses of a knee strike

Lets try to get a list of various uses for certain types of weapons.

How have you used a knee strike?

It does not necessarily need to be to a pressure point but please include that info if you like.

This one you may remember from you school days.
If you walk up to someone you can very easily drop that person to the ground with a simple knee strike to the pressure point that is located right on their leg at the tips of there fingers if their hands were straight down by their sides.

It is very easy to find this point just by raising your own knee it will effectively strike the correct point almost automatically.
